Math isn't something I have EVER enjoyed or had an easy time understanding, so for the sake of my fellow creatives out there I'll spare you the nasty details of this drab and tiring subject.
Im fully aware and accepting of the fact that math in its self is EVERYWHERE and in everything. However this doesn't change the fact that I have fought the subject in school my entire life. even if your not the creative type I think a large majority of people dislike foreign world that mathematics is....
So I've been taking an online class... on the upside, I'm actually kicking ass this time around!
I'm much more devoted to getting through this stupid subject so that I am one step closer to getting my BFA.
The downside of course is that I'm finding my 'creative drive' is, for a lack of better words, slowly dying.
I'm sure you have had enough talk about math, and let's be honest no one wants to read about it, let
alone do it.
The flying machine has finally been completed, that's right people it's mounted and clear coated to ensure its safety, mostly just because it looks so much more at home while in flight.
I took the pic using my crappy iPhone, I say crappy because no matter how hard I try to hold still my photos come out with a blur.
The biggest event as of late for me was undoubtedly the Hallows Eve show I was accepted into this year. Currently running now until November 9th, located at the Urban Arts Gallery in downtown Salt Lake City. I might be predisposed to favoring the place, but honestly I really dig what they have going on down at urban. For the people wanting to support local artists, they have a lot of awesome pieces, in addition they also have shirts and other wearable items for sale.
In total I have eleven pieces down at the gallery(one of which is the sculpture shown bellow)
The paintings that I have up are from the Digital Natives series I worked on last year.
